Jesus Statue in India
D. Vijikar has just completed work on one of his best masterpieces. A statue of Jesus which is claimed as one of the biggest in India.

Inaugurated on June 6, 2010 at Chitra Shanti Dhama, Veeranapalya, near Hebbal, Lumbini Garden, Bangalore 560045, Karnataka, India, by The Archbishop of Chikmangalur, Anthony Swamy Thomasappa.

The specifications goes as below:
 
Dimensions  21ft x 12.5ft x 5ft
Weight Approx 40 tonnes after finishing. Raw stone was approx. 200 tonnes.
Material Solid Koira Gay Granite
Time taken 8 months of dedicate day and night effort

Team Mr Vijikar with 10 dedicated assistants
